An analysis of various aspects of the pastoral position: the work of the pastor, the pastor and his family; scheduling the day’s activities; weddings, funerals, baptisms, the Lord’s table; relations with other pastors; the pastor and his books; the call to the local church.
An analysis of the qualifications of a church planter, how to choose the place for church planting, the principles of church planting, planning for the first service, the securing of facilities, the use of small groups in church planting, financing the new work, and mobilizing and organizing the people.
An analysis of the practical aspect of hiring and leading a church staff, the second man position, selection and relationship with deacons, business meetings, constitutions, budgets, finances, and motivation of people.

A comparative survey of the major religions of the world in light of Christianity and the Bible.
A structured exposure and experience on the mission field in order to give the student a view of life and work as a missionary.
Comparative studies of cults and sects in the light of fundamental biblical Christianity.
Practical experience dealing with problems and responsibilities as they are encountered daily on the mission field. The program will be structured to the needs of the individual student.
A study of biblical missions, including the scriptural basis of missions, the particular call, preparation and pre-field ministry, selecting a board, ministry and problems on the field and on furlough.
