Attendance Policy

Much of the information that is presented at the college level is given only once. It should be the student’s desire to attend every class.

Penalties are given for an unexcused absence. Excused absences (cuts) are given to students having at least a "C" average in every subject with the provision that not more than one week of cuts per semester is taken. No cuts may be taken at the following times: during the winter term, during the three weeks before Christmas break or commencement, during the first three weeks of any semester, or during midterms or final exams.
