With International Baptist College’s Early Start program, high school juniors and seniors can take college classes for college credit while still in high school. It’s an affordable way to get a head start on a college education!
IBC’s Early Start program is open to high school juniors and seniors whose grades and test scores demonstrate that they are capable of handling freshman level college work.
When taking classes as part of the Early Start program, you pay only one-half of the normal tuition rate plus additional fees. Contact the College office for more details.

Shorten the time it takes to earn your college degree
Take day, evening or summer classes
IBC classes meet throughout the week starting at 7:30 am and finishing at 1:50 pm. IBC also offers several courses on Monday and Tuesday evenings during the spring and fall semesters. Winter and summer term classes last from 2-4 hours per day and provide the same amount of instruction and credit hours as a regular 15-week class. For a current class schedule, click here.
College classes that you take cannot be counted toward your high school graduation requirements. You still must take all of the high school courses needed to receive your high school diploma.
Many colleges will accept transfer credits from IBC because of its accredited status. If you know which college you plan to attend, contact the registrar’s office at that college to confirm that they will accept credits in transfer from IBC.
Fill out an application, indicating that you will be participating in the Early Start Program, and submit it along with the appropriate application fee. After being accepted by the College, look at the schedule of classes and complete the registration process.
