IBC's undergraduate programs are designed to equip students to minister in the pastorate, mission field, Christian school, and local church. The philosophy is to equip the total person--head, hands, and heart--to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. All courses are Christ-centered and are taught from a biblical perspective in order to enable students to develop a biblical worldview in every area of life. IBC combines an academic education with practical courses and hands-on Christian service experience in the local church ministry.
All undergraduate students take courses in three divisions: Bible and Theology, General Education, and professional studies. The two-year Associate of Arts degree can be earned with a major in Christian Service. The four-year Bachelor of Arts degree can be earned with a major in Bible and Christian Service or Bible and Teacher Education. These majors are designed to allow for a maximum of flexibility for career choices within the areas of church and Christian school ministries.
