Scholarships

To apply for one of the following scholarships, contact the Financial Aid Office.

Scholarship	Requirements	Aid Amount
ACT Scholarship	Must finish in the upper fourth of class of at least eight students Must have a minimum composite score of 26 on tests October 1989 and later on the ACT	$400
Christian Service Scholarship	Single, full-time student under the age of 25 One parent in full-time Christian service (of like faith and order of IBC and TBC) Student must maintain satisfactory academic progress	30% tuition scholarship 10% room/board scholarship
The Daniel Scholarship	Financial need Returning student who has been a full time student the past two semesters at IBC Satisfactorily completed at least 24 credit hours Christian Service-Missions emphasis major Maintained at least a 3.0 GPA	$500 annually
The Founder's Scholarship	Returning Junior or Senior pursuing a B.A. in Christian Service (Pastoral, Missions, or Church Music) Maintained at least a 2.5 GPA	$1000 annually
The Founder's Postgraduate Scholarship	Student pursuing M.Min. or D.Min. degree Maintained at least a 3.0 GPA	$500 annually
Get Acquainted Scholarship	Financial need Full-time student Freshman	$1500
The Joseph Scholarship	This scholarship is given in memory of Joseph Merrill, Jr. to a junior or senior who exemplifies a spirit of service, humility, integrity, and faithfulness. Read more about this scholarship
The Lydia Scholarship	Financial need Returning lady student Full time student the past two semesters at IBC Maintained at least a 2.0 GPA Demonstrated personal industry, demonstrated a spirit of serving others	$500 annually
The Mark Scholarship	Financial need Returning gentleman student Full time student the past two semesters at IBC Maintained at least a 2.0 GPA Demonstrated personal industry, demonstrated a spirit of serving others	$500 annually
The Presidential Scholarship	Returning student who has been a full time student the past two semesters at IBC Maintained at least a 2.0 GPA while at IBC Demonstrated personal industry, demonstrated a spirit of serving others Has been faithful in making scheduled payments	$500 annually per student
Student Spouse Scholarship	Spouse of a full-time student	2 tuition free hours Additional hours taken at 1/3 tuition rate (up to 15 credit hours)
Two Students, Same Family Scholarship	Two of same family enrolled as students; Applies only to student with the lightest load	20% tuition, room, and board scholarship
