Youth Conference - November 5-6, 2009

International Baptist College's annual youth conference is designed to address the needs of teenagers today. Over one hundred teens from around Arizona as well as California, Utah, and New Mexico attended this year's youth conference. The theme was Gold Strike, so teens attended workshop sessions on practical ways to get to know God better by digging in the Bible for truth. In a panel discussion they asked questions and learned how to find the answers in the Bible. IBC President Pastor David Brock led all the teens in a group discussion/debate working through a scenario related to absolute truth versus relative truth. Pastor Mike Sproul, the main speaker, spoke on destiny. The conference ended Friday night with a campfire around which many teens shared testimonies about how God had worked in their heart during the conference.
