Band Camp - July 26-30, 2010

International Baptist College finished their first year of Fine Arts Summer Camps with Band Camp July 26-30, 2010. Almost 50 campers came from all over Arizona, as well as California. The camp offered a strong band program with three separate bands: Symphonic, Concert and Cadet Band. Dr. Monty Budahl from Maranatha Baptist Bible College was the guest conductor. Success was experienced by all, and it was particularly amazing to see how much the beginners could learn in just 5 days. In addition to band rehearsals the campers attended elective sessions, ensemble rehearsals, group devotions and evening services. They performed at Horizon Bay Retirement Center on Thursday afternoon and enjoyed getting to know residents before and after the performance. All the campers participated in the Grand Finale Concert on Friday night.
