Graduation - May 14, 2011

After years of effort, the day which sixteen IBC students had long awaited finally came: graduation. These students have finished the requirements for their courses of study and are now free to pursue their careers.

The IBC Chamber Singers started the service with "A New Psalm of Celebration," an energetic song praising the Lord. For the offertory, the College Choir sang "The Lord’s Prayer." IBC Chancellor Dr. Jerry Tetreau challenged the graduates and those in attendance with a message from Psalm 144:12. Graduates Katie Schopf and John Vunnamatla gave testimonies of how God has used their years at IBC.

Several folks were honored throughout the ceremony. The yearbook was dedicated to our myriad volunteers who have assisted and supported IBC since its inception. Staff received gifts thanking them for their years of service at IBC, including Miss Sandra Fullmer for her 30 years of faithful service at Tri-City Ministries (see list below). Scholarships recognizing Christian character and diligence were awarded (see the list below).

With graduation comes the close of another year at IBC. Students return home and to various ministries while professors prepare for summer classes and next school year. For the graduates, a new chapter in life has begun.
