Fall Semester Begins - August 2011

International Baptist College resumed classes on August 24. Residence hall students moved in on Saturday, August 20 and enjoyed a nice dinner that evening with some parents, staff, and many of the town students. Tours of the new classroom and office building were hosted afterward.

Registration took place on Monday and Tuesday with classes kicking off Wednesday. Each night during the week, Pastor David Brock led Heart Focus services designed to help students focus on God at the beginning of the school year. Remember to keep the students and faculty in prayer throughout the semester.

IBC has some exciting events coming up in the next few weeks. Saturday, September 3 is the society rush picnic. On Labor Day, Dr. Jerry Tetreau will be leading a hike on South Mountain. To start off the annual Missions Conference, IBC will be holding a missions banquet on September 24, allowing students to get to know some of the missionaries who will be ministering during the conference.
