Missions Banquet - September 24, 2011

Students of International Baptist College had the opportunity to meet missionaries and learn from their experiences at the 2011 Missions Banquet, the first event of Tri-City Baptist Church’s annual Missions Conference.

IBC’s mission prayer group, led by junior Tylor Montgomery, organized this year’s banquet. The theme was Ristorante di Venizzia complete with delicious Italian cuisine. The keynote speaker, Dr. Bob Jones III, was joined by other featured conference missionaries who shared their field experiences in a question and answer time.

Among the missionaries present was IBC Alumnus Mike Mestler and his wife Gail from Kenya, Africa. The Mestlers are parents of Mr. Nathan Mestler, IBC’s Dean of Students, and Mrs. Rachel Bullock, former assistant librarian.

IBC strives to prepare leaders for dynamic ministry whether at home or on foreign fields Consequently, graduates like Josiah Wambua in Kenya, Mike Redick in Southeast Asia, Johnny Mani in India, and other faithful servants are impacting the world for Christ.
