| An advanced study of sermon structure and development with an emphasis on adapting sermon structures to the biblical text, and the development of variety in outlining and delivery methods. This course will explore declarative, narrative, inductive, deductive, and other sermonic structures. Dr. Walt BrockDr. Walt Brock has been in full-time Christian ministry since 1968. In 1973 he and his wife Betty co-founded Ironwood Christian Camp in California where he currently serves as executive director. Dr. Brock frequently travels and teaches on ministry management. His degrees include a B.A. from Bob Jones University and a D.D. from San Francisco Theological Seminary. He has authored several books on parenting published by Iron Sharpeneth Iron Publications. |

Dr. Corey PfaffeProfessor Pfaffe has served as the Chair of Maranatha's Department of Business since 1989. He also chairs the College Finance committee. He earned a Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee, School of Business Administration. As a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) with more than 25 years of professional experience, he regularly consults with churches, Christian ministries and small businesses as they seek to advance their accounting, tax, management, and marketing functions. Dr. Pfaffe and his wife Laurie are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, where he is a deacon, disciples believers, provides financial counseling, and works in the nursery. He provides additional financial help for Christians, including those in ministry positions, through several resources on the web: www.ministrycpa.org. |

Dr. Kevin SchaalDr. Schaal has served as the senior pastor of Northwest Valley Baptist Church since it began in 1987. Dr. Schaal serves as an adjunct professor for International Baptist College, Baptist College of Ministry, Independent Bapist Bible Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, and Baptist Seminary in Trujillo, Peru. He is a member of the Executive Board for Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International, of the Trustee Board for Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, of the Advisory board for International Baptist Missions, and of the governing board for International Baptist College. He is also contributing author and editor for FrontLine Magazine and is a graduate of Bob Jones University of Greenville, SC (BA), Calvary Baptist Seminary of Lansdale, PA (MDiv), and Doctor of Ministry from International Baptist College in Chandler, AZ. Dr. Schaal and his wife, Sandra, have five children ranging in ages from ten to twenty-one. |

Dr. Jerry TetreauJerry C. Tetreau, often called "Dr. T", has been involved in Christian education since 1967 having served as a teacher, Christian school administrator, and in various administrative roles at IBC: as the Academic Dean, Vice President, and President. He currently serves as IBC's Chancellor. Dr. Tetreau has earned a B.A. from Bob Jones University, an M.A. from Maranatha Baptist Bible College, an Ed.Sp. from Pensacola Christian College, and a Ph.D. from the California Graduate School of Theology. Dr. Tetreau also received an honorary D.Litt. from Baptist College and Graduate School of the West. Married to his wife Kit for almost 50 years, Dr. T has two children and five grandchildren. |
