
Have you considered hiking the Grand Canyon? God is good to have given us this Canyon, a powerful testimony of His omnipotence in dealing with His living creatures. Hiking the Grand Canyon is a spiritual, physical, social, and educational experience. Every April, IBC chancellor Dr. Jerry Tetreau leads IBC students, faculty, and friends of the College on the Grand Canyon hike. He has led over 200 people on over 20 hikes into the Grand Canyon.
COST:
AGES: High school sophomores through adults.
SCHEDULE:
EQUIPMENT: Each hiker is responsible to bring a tent, sleeping bag, backpack and food for the trail and during travel to and from the Canyon. The College will provide the meals served on the Rim.
RESPONSIBILITY: Each hiker assumes full responsibility for his or her safety throughout the trip. This is a serious hike and ought not to be attempted by anyone who is not in good physical condition. Preparation is a must.
