Tri-City Teens Help Camp Utibaca - June 16, 2010

Tri-City Baptist Church's youth pastor, Mark Maxwell, took twelve of us teens from the youth group to Utah to help Jarrod & Kristina Murdock set up Camp Utibaca for the summer. The Murdocks are taking a break this summer from their responsibilities at Tri-City Baptist Church to direct the camp again. We all worked hard, fixing the water pump, cleaning the kitchen, dining hall, chapel, and cabins. Visiting the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Park, playing in the snow, and hiking to the falls near the camp was a lot of fun! During the week we enjoyed working together and getting to know each other better, and were encouraged to be diligent in witnessing by seeing the examples of these Christians laboring in the minority where they live. Please pray for the Murdocks and Camp Utibaca this summer!
