Youth Parent Dinner - September 8, 2007
Tri-City Baptist Church's Youth Parent Dinner on Saturday, September 8, 2007, allowed the teens to say thank you to their parents. It was also an opportunity for the parents to get to know each other, and for Pastor Maxwell to address parent/teen issues. About twenty teens helped cook, serve, and watch younger children. Fifty-two parents attended, making it the largest crowd since the Maxwells came in 2004. The medieval theme required that everyone eat soup, green beans, potatoes, chicken, and dessert...without utensils (yes, even soup in a bread bowl). After the meal the parents watched a video about our teen camp and shared many laughs, then heard Pastor Max speak about modeling unconditional love and a thankful spirit.
