Singleton Hall Dedication May 13, 2006

What a joy to cut the ribbon on International Baptist College’s first residence hall named in honor of the man who first had the vision for International Baptist College! On May 13 the Mayor of Chandler and many friends and supporters celebrated with the students, faculty and staff during this historic event.

Eventually, plaques will be placed in each room in honor of the godly people who have impacted the plaque donors. We anticipate many godly men and women living and studying in these rooms in the coming years.

This new residence hall is located near the center of the third fastest growing city in the nation. Each room has a private shower and restroom facilities as well as custom made closets for each student. It sits near many good paying jobs and is immediately adjacent to a beautiful twenty-eight acre park with amenities such as sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, a running course, duck pond, and other wonderful services.

This is just the beginning of developing a full campus for the students of International Baptist College. We must raise another $1.2 million for Singleton Hall and then another $3.5 million for a 32,000 square foot academic building that will house the largest Independent Baptist library (65,000 volumes) west of the Mississippi River, as well as a student center, computer lab, classrooms, and faculty offices.

God has greatly blessed our work over the last twenty-five years with scores of former students and graduates serving Him all over the world. In His strength, we trust that we are building a campus that will train hundreds more for His service.
